HKSNA SoCal Early Keyboard Festival: Experiencing Early Keyboards
A one-day festival of lectures, performances, and hands-on sessions bringing together performers, educators, students, and music lovers across SoCal in a collegial setting. Featured instruments are: Fritts & Richards pipe organ (3 manuals), Opus 5, inspired by Northern German organs of the 17th century; an 1829 Broadwood fortepiano; and French-and Neapolitan-style harpsichords. Participants will have the opportunity to try out the instruments.
