Evgeny Tonkha
Evgeny began performing actively at the age of 10, gaining experience on some of the world’s most prestigious stages — in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Berlin, Munich, London, Paris, Nice, Vienna, Salzburg, Basel, Bern, Delhi, Seoul, and many other cities and countries. Evgeny has played hundreds of solo, chamber, and orchestral concerts. His repertoire spans over five centuries of music written for the cello. He is the first prize winner of the International Cello Competition in the Czech Republic and the recipient of two special awards at the Tchaikovsky Competition.
Nikolay Sivchuk
Nikolay is a brilliant Russian bayan musician, talented educator, arranger, and composer. A prodigy, in childhood Nikolai was already a virtuoso and winner of several international competitions. At 15 he was awarded a scholarship to “New Names”, the International Charitable Foundation nurturing the most gifted young Russian musicians. Through “New Names” Nikolay studied under legendary Russian Professor Viacheslav Semionov at the Gnessin Academy of Music in Moscow. During his studies he became an artist laureate in some of the most prestigious international competitions, including gold in the “Coupe Mondiale” (Slovakia-Hungary, 2003).
