Beginning in 1948 at Exposition Park under the name “Sundays Live,” Classical Sundays at Six is now presented at St. James in-the-City as part of our broader offerings of Great Music at Saint James. It is the oldest continuing chamber music series in Southern California. Offered from October through May at 6 PM, Classical Sundays at Six features chamber, orchestral, and solo artists from Southern California and around the globe streaming live and on-demand.

During the renovation of the church (scheduled for completion in early 2026), all events take place in the Parish Hall located west of the church off the central courtyard. The church is located at Wilshire and St. Andrews, with free parking across the street on Wilshire. All concerts are free and live streamed at concert time, and are available on demand at www.greatmusicla.org
