Pianist and poet Alex Tchaykov presents an evening of music in conversation with poems, including Joan Tower’s piano suite “No Longer Very Clear” (inspired by John Ashberry), Jerome Kitzke’s “Sunflower Sutra” for speaking pianist (set to Allen Ginsburg’s poem of the same name), plus a song cycle set to the artist’s own poetry.
