Join us in celebrating the many contributions of Colburn faculty member Jim Walker. Enjoy a lively concert featuring performances by Jim and his colleagues, friends, and students before heading to the South Plaza for a toast to his retirement.
Jim is the founding flute faculty member at the Colburn Conservatory in 2007 and has dedicated his career to mentoring and inspiring hundreds of talented flutists. In addition to his passion for teaching, Jim is known for his versatility as a musician, performing both classical and jazz. With over 750 soundtracks to his name, Jim is a flute legend in the motion picture recording industry.
