A Chamber Music Afternoon for Instruments and Voice
Join us for an intimate afternoon of classical chamber music featuring the rich blend of tenor, violin, clarinet, and piano. Including a legendary Clarinetist, Michele Zukovsky, four wonderful musicians will perform dynamic duo and trio pieces including sacred songs. Come experience the vibrant Ensemble in a beautiful church!

Michele Zukovsky: While studying music at the University of California, I tried out for the first chair of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. I was 18 years old, and after winning the audition, the first thing that came to mind was —no more trick or treating! My previous job was not a success, which was folding clothes in Mrs. Sillicks Laundry. I got fired within a month. This next job lasted for over 50 years, with no folding required, and I started the long process of learning 150 years of orchestral repertoire. READ MORE.
Professor Dennis Parnell is a busy man. Parnell, who has been a professor at Santa Monica College for over 15 years, is currently the senior voice teacher on staff, and has taught many well-known singers such as Chikezie Ndubuisi Eze of “American Idol.” He usually teaches Beginning and Intermediate Voice (Music 50A and 50B), Fundamentals of Music (M1), and a variety of other Music Appreciation and Music History courses. Tae Yeon Lim is known for her powerful performance style, combining energetic delivery with an intelligent touch. Originally from South Korea, Tae currently lives in Los Angeles where she is active as a pianist, chamber musician and conductor. Revealing a talent for music at a young age, she was selected as a soloist with the Sorisam Chamber Orchestra at 11 years old, performing Mozart’s Concert Rondo. READ MORE.
