The repertoire for cello and piano is rich with treasures. Experience one of the crown jewels, Beethoven’s Fourth Sonata in C Major, along with the composer’s brilliant variations on a theme from Mozart’s Magic Flute, Barber’s fiery early-career duo, and a shining gem by the French late romantic composer Mélanie Bonis. GRAMMY®-nominated Pomona College faculty pianist Genevieve Feiwen Lee is joined by guest cellist Tobias Werner.

A versatile performer of music spanning five centuries, Genevieve Feiwen Lee has thrilled audiences on the piano, harpsichord, toy piano, keyboard, and electronics. She has appeared as a soloist in France, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Poland, and the Netherlands. Tobias Werner is the artistic director of Pressenda Chamber Players and an Arts for the Aging (AFTA) teaching artist. He has performed at the Vail Valley Bravo! Colorado Music Festival, in Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, Strathmore Hall, the Library of Congress, and the National Gallery of Art.
