A Lenten concert as part of the Adventures in Music series presented by the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Shahid Osuna is the principal flutist with both the Whittier Regional Symphony and the Angeles Symphony Orchestra, and the second flutist with the San Fernando Valley Symphony. He performed as a soloist after winning CSUN’s Upper Division Concerto Competition in 2019 and appeared as a soloist again in 2025, premiering Larry Tuttle’s Flute Concerto with the Calabasas Chamber Orchestra. A passionate flute ensemble enthusiast, Shahid has played with many flute choirs around Southern California, including Silver Sounds, Sterling Flute Choir, FluteSonic, and Song of Angels.
He currently co-directs the Los Angeles Flute Choir.

Sonia Lee has been invited as soloist, collaborative artists, and guest director at festivals and venues in more than 150 cities on four continents. Her discography includes leading roles in first recordings of music by Joseph Weigl, Leopold Kozeluch, and Antonia Bembo. She has served as faculty and staff at Scripps College and California State University, San Bernardino and she.is music director and principal organist at Christ Church Parish in Ontario and St. Mary in Palms Episcopal Church in L.A.
