FreeThe bayan is a type of chromatic button accordion developed in the Russian Empire in the early 20th century and named after the 11th-century bard Bayan. In 2003, Nikolay Sivchuk won the Coupe Mondiale – World Accordion Championship in the “Academic button accordion” category. Since then, he has developed an extensive worldwide solo career. He has toured throughout Russia, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Cyprus, Finland, Denmark, Serbia, Hungary, Portugal, and China.
