OC Cello Quartet

Back by popular demand, the OC Cello Quartet returns to The Sanctuary for a cozy and festive concert to kick off the holiday season. This special evening will feature a charming mix of beloved holiday classics, unexpected musical gems, and the warm resonance of four cellos in harmony—all served with a side of complimentary Christmas cookies!

Formed in 2024, the OC Cello Quartet is made up of seasoned performers from the Orchestra Collective of Orange County. With over 80 years of collective experience, these musicians bring deep artistry, joy, and personality to the stage:

🎻 Effy Huang – A passionate educator and beat-maker with a love for music, bunnies, and bold new sounds.
🎻 John Rasmussen – A dedicated Irvine-based teacher and Chapman-trained cellist with a soft spot for rescue pups.
🎻 Melissa Bausley – A Suzuki-trained cellist whose love for teaching is matched only by her love for Murakami novels and coastal hikes.
🎻 Suzanne La Roque – A founding OCofOC member who thrives in everything from symphony halls to rock bands—and cat rescue missions.
