Dear friend! We have just been informed by Hollywood Piano that their air conditioner is out of service and will not be fixed till next week. Considering that the forecast for Friday promises 104°F, we have moved the concert to a private residence at 4016 Cartwright Ave, Studio City, CA 91604. The start time is now 8 PM. Donato Giupponi, piano; John Walz, cello; Veronica Bell, soprano

On Friday, August 8, 2025, at 7:30 PM at the world-famous Hollywood Piano store in Pasadena, Veronica and Donato will be joined by the principal cellist of the Los Angeles Opera Orchestra, John Walz. For this concert, maestro Giupponi will swap the organ for a more intimate instrument: an 8-foot Steinway.

The program will showcase beloved masterpieces from legends such as J. S. Bach and W. A. Mozart, alongside Italian romantics G. Verdi and G. Puccini, and Spanish composer M. Ponce, with a twist of the fresh and exciting sounds of modern Italian composer Carlotta Ferrari, who proves that classical music is not just for the stuffy.
