In addition to his Van Cliburn victory, Vadym Kholodenko also took home the prizes for best performance of the piano quintet and best performance of a commissioned work. He has also taken first prize at the Maria Callas International Piano Competition, and the Sendai International Piano Competition, and the International Schubert Competition.
